About the event
Let’s knit together! All ages and skill levels are invited to join us for fun with wool. Volunteers are available to teach you how to cast, knit, purl, and more. We’ll be knitting monster magnets, bunnies, bookmarks, bracelets, and making felted works of art. Knitters and crocheters working on their own projects are invited to gather in our foyer for a friendly knit and natter session.
Knit in Public Day Exhibition
Saturday 1 June to Sunday 16 June
The Lawrence community is filled with fibre artists and hobbyists. This year's KiPD exhibition features knit and crochet work from our museum volunteers. From jumpers to toys, each piece is an act of love.
