The Lawrence Lantern Festival celebrates the Chinese heritage of Lawrence. The settlers at the Chinese Camp would have celebrated the Moon Festival, though far from home and family.

Bring your lanterns and we will place tea lights in them.  If you do not have a lantern one can be purchased on the day for $3, or $5 for 2.  

The parade will depart from the Arches and shimmy down Whitehaven Street to finish at The Prospector Cafe.  Light refreshments will be available for a gold coin donations.

All donations go towards future Lawrence Lantern Festival activities.
