Starting at 6am at dawn there will be a firepit at The Village Green with a invitation to come and witness the Matariki Stars before sunrise as a community, with hot drinks and karakia.

From 10am onwards there will be a free Star Lantern Making workshop at The Village Green.

From late afternoon there will be Matariki themed food, music and craft activities. Warm up at the Prospector with some mulled wine.
