About the event
The Moon Festival is China's second biggest festival. It began in the Zhou Dynasty (1046-256 BCE) and has been celebrated around the world ever since. Chinese miners brought this tradition to Lawrence during the Otago gold rush, and now it's our turn to keep the lantern glow alive.
