Speaker: Paul Aldern, Senior Constable, Police. Lawrence.  A collegue will be accompanying Paul.  Paul has 17 years experience of policing over a wide area of Otago and his experiences are many and varied.  He will speak to what is involved with his job in helping people in his community, keeping them safe, protecting property, traffic, attending accidents, supervising events and people passing through our township.  We see only the surface activities of our Police, but a great deal of their work is not evident to the public.  We invite you to join us and learn more of this very necessary and important office in our society.  Contact Anne Benington 03 4859447 or 027 4148942
